You've seen our favourite photos of the floats from the six carnaval parades we saw, along with a select few video clips. But now we have a 5 minute compilation of all of the best footage from the parade and general Carnaval 2015 festivities. It is my first attempt at video editing but I think I did pretty well and I hope it gives you some sense of what it was like here in Rio during Carnaval.

Rio Carnaval 2015 Part III
The first two schools were mindblowing, the next two schools had the champion and our personal favourite. It was nearly 3am when we started watching this one.
Imperatriz
Another African themed parade!
Unidos da Tijuca
This parade was Swiss themed so try and recognise this famous Switzerland figures and inventions. I didn't see Roger Federer, which was somewhat disappointing! Interestingly this show started with a bit of theatre. Excuse our lack of enthusiasm as it was gone 4am when this started!

Rio Carnaval 2015 Part II
Last time we showed you pictures and videos of these two schools parading their way down the Marquês de Sapucaí street. The next school to perform was crowned champion out of the 12 samba schools that made the finals, albeit not without controversy!
Beija-Flor
Another African themed float and apparently there are some disputes and questions being asked about the funding and finances of this samba school. Corruption in Carnaval! Russell Brand needs to get on it.
União da Ilha
This was mine and Katie's favourite school. The parade was called "Pure Beauty?" and it rocked our world. See if you can recognise some of these famous icons.
